Polymers are long chained molecules made up of repeated units called polymers. An excellent demo for polymers is polyurethane. It can be purchased from several science supply companies, here is one provided by Science Kit and Boreal Laboratories. The one in the video below is from Flinn Scientific. There are many different types of polyurethane, but basically there are two monomers that bond together to form a rigid polymer which is 20 to 30 times larger.
